A unique environmentBased in my home, the studio is as welcoming and relaxed as it can be. Yet it isn't a "home project studio" at all. While other recording studios in Edinburgh have larger premises, very few can match the soundproofing and acoustics of our tracking room. As for the standard of our equipment... frankly, this is as good as it gets. You won't find better quality microphones, outboard, instruments, amplifiers and effects even in recording studios charging top rates.
Production valuesWhile we are open to record any type of music, working with someone that appreciates and understands what you do makes all the difference. We love traditional & folk music, acoustic songwriters, blues, rock, indie and punk bands and we excel in producing such music making it sound personal, involving and fresh.Call us for a chat, email us or - even better - get in touch to arrange a look around the studio, so that we can discuss your project in person. There is no obligation whatsoever!
Andrea operated as a critical friend, suggesting creative ways forward. He is able to look at the big picture while also paying attention to the tiniest details.
Andrea is a true craftsman and I am delighted with the results.
I had an almost unrealistically short deadline for when I needed a finished item, but I thought that Andrea couldn't have brought more dedication and support to the project.
Andrea's studio is unique in that it is situated in his home. This is wonderful as his passion for music has created an atmosphere which is wholly welcoming and professional.
Andrea's priority is the capturing of a truly unique and honest performance.
This is so refreshing in a world of sound engineers whose obsession with technicalities and equipment often produces technically flawless but somewhat stale and lifeless recordings.
